In addition to what is listed here, we often have a number of very cool mandolins available. You'll see them hanging on the walls, or perched on the fireplace mantel. They look great up there, but they will look better in your hands. Sound better, too!
Vega A-Style Mandolin (circa 1920s)
Oh, the magic of 100-year old spruce and Brazilian rosewood. Absolutely beautiful A-style Vega, likely late-1920s vintage. These are every bit as musically pleasing as their arched-top Gibson rivals from back in the day. A really lovely mandolin for strumming chords and picking robust, warm single-note lines, whether folk, old-time, some Celtic styles, etc.
Repaired center seam separation and back cracks. Otherwise in beautiful condition!
