Carruth modified Dreadnought

4,050.00

We are proud to offer guitars from acclaimed New England luthier Alan Carruth!

Al describes his dreadnought as: "'round shoulder' shape; it's not quite like a slope Dread, but not as square as Martin's shape either." Sonically it is powerfully resonant, particularly in the fundamental notes—quite warm and inviting. It is a joy to play and hear!

Carruth utilized domestic tonewoods throughout on this guitar: a Sitka spruce top; a beautifully figured, red oak back and sides; cherry neck and binding; black-dyed persimmon fingerboard and bridge.  Waverly tunes, varnish finish. Deluxe TKL case.
